Our Services
What We Do
At Empowered Disability Support (EDS), we design supports that are tailored to you. Our approach is guided by what you need, what matters most to you, and the funding available to you. We work collaboratively with you to create support that reflects your goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
Where appropriate, we can also collaborate with people who support you, such as your guardian, parents or siblings, partner or spouse, other family members or friends, support coordinator, therapists, medical professionals, or other service providers. We will only work with people you choose, and we will never share information or make contact without your explicit written consent.

1:1 Supported Holidays
Utilising 1:1 Core Support funding (Community Access, Assistance with Daily Living, Supported Independent Living, or a combination of the above) and a customised participant co-payment to cover the cost of the trip itself, we can help you plan your dream holiday and provide support on the holiday. We only support 1:1 holidays as we want the holiday to be about you - and your goals.
Capacity Building
Individual Skill Development
This funding type is usually very limited and is usually used in conjunction with Core Support funding.
Innovative Community Participation
- Planning – identifying what you want to do and how to achieve it
- Skill Building – learning practical skills such as booking tickets, planning activities, and building community connections
We provide hands-on support in real-world settings until you feel confident and capable of accessing your community independently.
